Recipe for Dhabeli (Spicy Bread & Potato Snack)
Ingredients: 250 gm potatoes-peeled and chopped fine
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 cup chopped onions
7-8 curry leaves
1 tsp salt or to taste
1/2 tsp dhabeli masala
1/2 tsp chilli powder or to taste
3-4 paav bread
1/2 cup peanuts-roasted and coarsely ground
2 tbsp dried pomegranate seeds-powdered
imli chutney to garnish
hari chutney to garnish
Method:
Heat oil and add the mustard seeds, onions and curry leaves. Saut?ill a light color.Add the potatoes, salt, masala, and chilli powder and stir fry till potatoes are cooked through, adding a little water to make a ?wet? consistency.Cut the paav horizontally, place some of the potato mixture over the lower side, top it up with some peanuts and pomegranate, followed by imli chutney, then the green chutney. Cover with the other half of bread and serve.
