Recipe for Tea Cakes (Cake Chai ke sang)
Ingredients: white butter
sugar
eggs
maida
baking powder
vanilla essence
kishmish
Method:
Heat the oven to 250 degrees. Grease and line a baking tin with paper. Beat the eggs well and keep aside. Mix together the butter and sugar for about 15 minutes or until fluffy. Add the vanilla essence and baking powder and mix. Add the kishmish and mix well. Pour the mixture into the baking tin and Bake for about 45 minutes. Cool and remove cake from the tin. Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve with tea.
