Recipe for Chocolate Chip Oat Biscuits (Chocolate aur Jau ke biscuit)
Ingredients: 100 gm flour1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda1/4 tsp baking powder100 gm butter100 gm castor sugar75 gm grated jaggery1 egg1/4 tsp vanilla essence100 gm rolled oats150 gm chocolate chips1 peeled, cored, grated appleMocha cooler25 ml strong black coffee250 ml milk100 ml cream4 scoops chocolate ice-cream4 tbsp drinking chocolate
Method:
Sift flour, soda and baking powder. Set aside. Beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg and essence. Stir in flour mixture, oats, chocolate chips and apple. Drop teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 180 degree C for 15 minutes or until firm around the edge. Cool biscuits on a tray before storing. Serve with mocha cooler. For the Mocha cooler,dissolve the chocolate in hot coffee. Pour in milk. Chill. Whisk in cream. Pour over ice cream in the glasses. Serve immediately.
